26 killed in Boko Haram attacks and other stories

Maiduguri - 26 people were feared killed when suspected terror group members, Boko Haram raided some villages in Borno State, Vanguard reports.

Several others were reportedly injured while about forty residential buildings and farmlands were said to have been destroyed in the attacks.

Villages that were affected in the attack include Bdagu, Izge, Hartsa and Yazza in Gwoza, Damboa and Askira-Uba Local Government Areas of the state.

It was gathered the villagers mobilised and killed three members of the sect while other members of the sect were chased into nearby bushes.
